Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included with this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. Solicitation number TIRMS-06-Q-00028 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code is 333312 and the small business size standard is 500. The Internal Revenue Service, Office Of Business Operations, Midstates Branch, intends to purchase ONE (1) each of the following Line Items (NO SUBSTITUTIONS): (0001) GE Part Number 623061100PP with Linux, No Reader Capacity; (0002) GE Part Number 97018001 Imaging License; (0003) Dell Part Number 410210001 Standard Server; (0004) GE Part Number 420224002 Camera Kit; (0005) GE 420613001 Signature Capture Kit; (0006) GE 410194002 15? VGA Monitor; (0007) Labor ? Installation, Engineering, Testing & Training; (0008) Supplies (connectors, jumpers, hardware); (0009) GE Consulting Services. The system will be used as a temporary imaging system to take photos and signatures of IRS employees for future import into GE existing equipment. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation and are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation Factors; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, ALL OFFERORS ARE TO INCLUDE WITH THEIR QUOTE A COMPLETED COPY OF FAR 52.212-3, (copies of FAR 52.212-3 are available at www.arnet.gov/far/); FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders Commercial Items; FAR 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration (Oct 2003). This acquisition is based on the lowest technically acceptable quote. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price order. At a minimum, responsible sources shall provide prices that show requested Line Items, Unit Prices, Extended Prices, Total Price, and Warranty. The Contractor shall deliver the complete quantity, FOB Destination.
