Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award on a sole source basis a purchase order to Academy Health located in Washington, D.C. 20006. The purpose of this order is to conduct activities related to the Joint Fellowship Program between Academy Health and the National Center for Health Statistics to include the following: Plan and initiate marketing/promotional efforts; Administer the recruitment process; Convene Board of Advisers and administer review process to select fellows; Notify non-selected candidates and others of the selection results; and Administer Academy Health related fellowship activities. The authority for this sole source is FAR 6-302-1 (a) (2) ? Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 813920. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. However, firms that believe they can provide the listed services need to submit written notification of interest and capability to the Contracting Specialist within 15 days from the publication date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
