- Description
- THIS IS AMENDMENT 0001 TO SOLICITATION NO. W911QY-06-R-0525 Here are some questions and answers to solicitation no. W911QY-06-R-0525. 1) Is there currently an incumbent on this program? No 2) Is this a small business set aside? This is a full and open competition. 3) We see this proposal response as pretty straight forward. Our view on the formal proposal response is that it would have to include the following items: a) Labor cost for support personnel for appox. 1248 hrs LOE : with option line item pricing for 4 years b) Travel costs (estimated at 5 trips) c) Any anticipated ODC costs if any d) Administrative costs for the contract. Are we interpreting your direction correctly? 3.It also needs to include a technical proposal and resumes. 4 Travel: The government has listed a number of locations that the contractor will have to travel to, with the duration specified for each visit. A bid amount needs to be provided for the base award term, and for all option periods for all offerors to use in their proposal. It is impractical to expect an offeror to be able to submit a reasonable price for travel when travel dates are unknown. Is RDECOM Acquisition Center going to provide all potential offers with a bid amount for travel that can be included in each offerors proposal? 4. Answer: The price of the travel is an estimated amount quoted by the offerors. The statement of work does contain how many trips and how long each trip will last. 5. Government Furnished Property/Information: Is any of the documentation provided to the contractor classified? If so, will the Government provide the approporiate storage container to the contractor? 5. Answer: No, there will be no classified documents provided, so there will be not requirement for storing classified documents. 6. Period of Performance: The soliciation indicate that the contractor will provide services averaging 24 hours per week. Does this amount, 24 hours per week, apply to all of the option years also? 6. Answer: Yes 7. Reps and Certs: If the offeror has completed ORCA, and as prescriped in FAR 52.212-3, section (j), how are these updates or certification submitted with the proposal, electronically or by mail? 7. Answer: Electronically is fine. 8.Is there an incumbent for this effort? If yes, what is the name of the company and business size? No 9.For labor hours should we estimate based on 24 hour work week per solicitation? Yes 10.Will the contractor staff be required to be on-site? Yes Response time is 25 May 2006, 5:00 P.M. EST.
