Description

This procurement will be awarded on a Full and Open competitive basis. The item to procure is the FAN, MAIN, 200 CFM, NSN: 4140-01-296-2360, Part Number: 5-19-9696. The Fan, Main, 200 CFM, a/k/a Fan, Tubeaxial, is a mix-flow fan operating on 208 V, 400 Hz, 3-phase wye power to deliver an airflow of 200 cubic feet per minute (cfm). It is used in the M84 and M94 Gas Particulate Filter Units (GPFUs). The fan will have a minimum outlet head of 17 in. wg. with a maximum power draw of 1700 watts. The i tem weighs approximately 16 lbs with a profile of 9 x 9 x 8 inches. The body of the Fan is made from aluminum castings. Award of a three year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract is anticipated. A guaranteed minimum quantity of 99 ea ch is anticipated, with the maximum quantity over the life of the contract being 400 each. FOB is DESTINATION. Estimated issue date is 5 Jun 2006. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopi es will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electr onically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet addr ess in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rej ection of same. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-tdp@ri a.army.mil. Any said requests should contain the following information; CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicit ation has been released to the internet. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY07 requirement.
