Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) has a requirement for lead-based paint inspections and risk assessments in 30 FWS owned residences at various locations in Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming. The inspections and risk assessments shall be performed by a certified lead-based paint inspector and risk assessor for the appropriate State. A report shall be submited detailing all inspections and risk assessments. The inspection portion of the report shall provide information on the concentration of lead in paint on a surface-by-surface basis. The risk assessment portion of the report shall provide a determination of the presence or absence of lead-based paint hazards and acceptable control meansures, including interim controls and abatement options along with rough cost estimates.
