Description
The following information is being provided as clarification to the Geospatial Products and Service Contracts notice as posted under 06CR26-NoSolicitation. The following information will be posted at http://geodatacontracts.er.usgs.gov/index.html, under GPSC Replacement Contracts. Question: The solicitation does not indicate the service area for the proposed IDIQ contract. Can you identify the area(s) where potential projects would be performed? Answer: The area of performance for this contract includes all of the United States, its territories and possessions. Question: The announcement lists a P.O. Box but, courier services deliver to physical addresses only. Could you please provide a physical address for courier delivery (ie.FedEx)? Answer: The address is: U.S. Geological Survey Attn: Randa Usel, MS204B Denver Federal Center, Bldg. 53 Entrance S-1, Room H1122 6th & Kipling Denver, CO 80225 Question: The number of copies the USGS would like to receive is not mentioned in the above referenced solicitation. Is it safe to assume USGS would like 1 original and 2 copies? Answer: 1 original and 3 copies are requested. Question: As the Denver Federal Center is a Government facility, are there any security delays we would need to be aware of if the package [is hand carried] arrives on the due date? Answer: Yes, there are two security check points that all visitors are required to pass through and are within the Denver Federal Center. If hand carrying in a proposal, you must enter through Gate 1, which is located on Kipling Street, north of Alameda Parkway. Once you pass through Gate 1, you will proceed to Building 53, which is located on 5th Street, however the entrance for all visitors is on the west side of Building 53, on 6th Street and you must enter through Door W-4. It is recommended; at a minimum an additional 1 hour is allotted for getting through security, parking, walking to entrance W-4, and locating Room H1122, where the Contracting Officer is located. Closing date of 05/16/06 remains unchanged. End of Amendment.
