Description

Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Maritime Industrial Branch intends to procure on a sole source basis in accordance with Far 6.302 under a firm fixed price contrac with Marine Electric Systems for Salnity Cell Detectors. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Government. This notice is not a request for competive proposals. The applicable Request for Quote number is N00181-06-Q-0250. The closing date for receipt of request for quotes is 12-May-2006; 2:00 PM EST. The NAICS classification is 334519 and the small business size standard is 500. All deliverables shall be FOB Destination to the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia 23709-5000. Inspection and Acceptance will be at Destination. IMPORTANT NOTICE: DFAR 252.204-7004 - REQUIRED CENTRAL REGISTRATION (CCR) APPLIES. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information regarding CCR may be found at www.ccr.gov.
