Description

This contrat requires hand tree thinning, brush cutting and treatment of slash in compliance with its terms, specifications, and provisions. This includes furnishing labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals except those items listed as Government-furnished property. There are no salvage rights on any items of this contract. If the contractor would like to have salvage rights, a written request must be submitted to the Contracting Officer and a contract modification issued. Units are accessed via State Highway 168 from Fresno, CA to the town of Shaver Lake, CA. Use the Dinkey Creek Road and Providence Creek (10S17) Roads to access Bretz Unit. To access Dawn units, follow Highway 168 past Shaver Lake to Big Creek Road. Take Forest Road 8S08 to Dawn Meadow. For Lookout Point units, continue on Big Creek Road, through Big Creek township toward Huntington Lake. Take Stump Springs road about 11 miles to road 6S25. Thinning units are on road 7S03, which originates from 6S25. Units will be flagged with red and black candy striped flagging.
