- The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a sole source solicitation to Advanced Engineering and Planning Corporation, Inc (AEPCO, Inc), 15800 Crabbs Branch Way, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20855, to procure systems engineering services to analyze requirements, design, develop and deliver engineering design model (EDM) subsystems with related documentation for the Total Ship Training System (TSTS). The systems engineering expertise available from AEPCO will provide for the continued development, prototyping, testing, and delivery of; Battle Force Tactical Training System (BFTT) Training Content Authoring Tool (TACT); Communications Audio Capture Subsystem (CACS); Video Capture Subsystem (VCS) and Personnel Training Management System (PTMS). AEPCO is uniquely qualified to perform the services required herein for the following reasons: AEPCO developed and delivered a Concept of Operations and Design Specifications document that has been accepted by IWS-1B as the guiding documentation for continued development of the products identified in this Statement Of Work. The prototypes for Content Authoring Tool, Communications Audio Capture Subsystem, Video Capture Subsystem, and Personal Training Management System developed by AEPCO, have been have been demonstrated and delivered to IWS-1B for possible inclusion into the Total Ship Training System.
