Description

The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP), N00019-06-R-0066, as Small Business Set-aside Competition under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code number 541330, Engineering services, with a size standard of $25M. The anticipated requirement is for engineering services and possible emergency repair for the TH-6B aircraft. There are currently five (5) TH-6B aircraft in the Navy inventory. It is anticipated that the Navy will divest itself of the TH-6B aircraft during the performance period of this contract. Engineering services will include support of the Assistant Program Manager for Systems Engineering (APMSE) and/or the US Naval Test Pilot School in: engineering investigations, Rapid Action Minor Engineering Change (RAMEC) development, Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) development, overhaul/rework procedure and/or publication reviews, and manufacture of parts/materials (both stocked-numbered and non-stocked numbered) not immediately available in the supply system but urgently needed to preclude Non Mission Capable Supply (NMCS) aircraft, as required by the Government. Estimated quantities of items per contract period will be set forth in the RFP. No hard copies of the solicitation or amendments will be provided. All correspondence will be via email to the Contract Specialist.
