THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. NO FORMAL RFQ WILL BE AVAILABLE. The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for Viral RNA Isolation Kits to be delivered to the National Wildlife Health Center in Madison, WI. These test kits are unique and urgently needed to enable research on mitigating the potential adverse impact of Avian Influenza. The USGS anticipates award to Ambion, Inc on or about 5/08/2006, under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00. The NAICS code is 325414. A determination not to continue with this acquisition is based upon responding within 3 days of the publication of this announcement to http://ideasec.nbc.gov, 06ER32-NoSolicitation.
