Description

The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Eastern Oklahoma Region, (EOR) is soliciting bids for construction of Bennington School Road Project, Project No. G09907-3837(1)G,S and the project is a proposed grade, drain and paving project, which includes parking areas and a mainline roadway. The project work includes grading, removing existing structures, constructing new drainage structures, placing aggregate base, paving the parking area/roadway, and installing signing/striping. Additional work items include the placement and maintenance of seeding, sodding, and erosion control measures. The project is located at the Bennington School, near the northeast corner of S.H. 70E and Richards Avenue in the town of Bennington, Oklahoma. The cost range is $500,000 to $1,000,000. Request bid document on or after May 22, 2006 to the Bureau of Indian Affairs, EOR, PO Box 8002, Muskogee, OK 74402, with a $50.00 (non-refundable) cashier's check or money order made payable to the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Cash, Personal or Company checks are not acceptable. Bid opening will be held on June 22, 2006, at 9:30 AM, CDST, Bureau of Indian Affairs, EOR, 3100 W. Peak Blvd., Muskogee, Oklahoma. The bid document may be reviewed at the following locations on or after May 22, 2006: Southwest Construction News, 7170 S. Braden Avenue, Suite 180, Tulsa, OK 74126; F. W. Dodge Division, 5100 E. Skelly Drive, Tulsa, OK 74135-6552; Bid News, 5727 S. Garnett Road, Suite H, Tulsa, OK 74146; and Division of Transportation, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Eastern Oklahoma Region, 3100 W. Peak Blvd, Muskogee, Oklahoma. This solicitation is a "Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program". A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for May 24, 2006, 9:00 AM, CDST, BIA, EOR, Muskogee, OK. The prevailing wage rates for Bryan County will be used and a 20% Bid Bond is required. Bidders are to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration at website www.ccr.gov.
