Description

This is a Combined Synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items as a Brand Name or Equal in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.211-6 (Aug 1999). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation for a Request for Proposal (RFP) and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is issued a s 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC), FAC 2005-09 effective 19 April 2006 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (D FARs), 1998 Edition current to 20060412. It is anticipated that payment will be made by Government Visa Credit Card. The American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 532412 and the size $5.5 Mil. The contractors proposal shall consist of Contract Line Item Number (CLIN), 0001 W91YMP66121PW10, Lease 5 month for one Bucket Truck, Equipment: Make Terex Telelect, Model: 6TC-65, Chassis specifications: Make: IHC, Model: 4700, Body Style: Dueco DSLl11 steel line body, Engine: T444E 230 HP Diesel, Transm ission: 5-speed, Allison MD-3060P, with the following options: Mounted over rear axle, fiberglass upper boom w/lower boom insert, 2-sets of outriggers w/outrigger boom interlock system, continuous rotation, dual hydraulic tool line installation, aux. tool below rotation, upper/lower controls, emergency lowering, 2- speed engine throttle control, hydraulic bucket leveling/tilt, electronic brake controller  installed in cab, strobe light. CLIN 0002 Option for six (6) Months. All quotes shall be clearly mar ked with the Solicitation number W9124R-06-T-0034 and e-mailed to Jackie.Wengstrom@yuma.army.mil no later than Close of Business, Mountain Standard Time (MST), 10 May 06 5:00 PM. Offeror that fail to furnish required representations of information as requ ired by 52.212-1,or reject the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration. The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible bidder whose bid conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government based on acceptability and price.
