- This is a notice of intent of the VA Medical Center, Fayetteville, Arkansas to negotiate sole source with Decision Point, Springdale, Arkansas to provide community based residential care within 30 miles of the VAMC, 1100 N. College Ave., Fayetteville, AR for veterans enrolled in the VA Substance Abuse Treatment Program. The government believes that only one responsible source can provide the services that will satisfy the agency requirements and intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by May 19, 2006. Such capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. No solicitation will be made available and all information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the government. A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. All inquiries must be submitted in writing; telephone inquiries will not be accepted, nor will responses received after May 19, 2006.
