Description

The U.S. Department of Transportation, Office of The Secretary of Transportation, Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), is seeking contractor support to provide necessary Financial Management Support which encompasses: asset management, computer and financial management systems hosting, web-based system and application hosting, telephony, network infrastructure and monitoring, data center operations, per-seat desktop support, tiered service desk support, information security, technical program management, contracts management, and many other areas. This is a Performance Based Services procurement that is 100% Small Business Set-Aside limited for eligible 8(a) certified firms. The applicable NAICS Code for this procurement is 541219. The size standard is $7.5 million. The acquisition method will be source selection procedures with an award based on the best value concept. Prospective 8(a) firms will be required to submit separate technical and price proposals. The period of performance consists of a base period of twelve months with the possibility of four (12month) option periods. The anticipated start date is August 1, 2006. The place of performance is Washington, DC. The Solicitation No. DTOS59-06-R-00015 and supporting documents related to this procurement are attached. Any amendments issued will be in electronic form.
