- Total Hub-Zone Set-Aside The purpose of this contract is to remove, salvage, and rehabilitate three existing glue laminated timber bridges, construct a 60 foot modular bridge, a 73 in x 55 in x 46 ft Corrugated Metal Pipe Arch, and a 40 foot glue laminated slab bridge; additional streambed rehabilitation involving the removal of an existing log crib, construction of log jams, rock weirs, a new streambed, and construction of abutment and bank protection. The project area is located on Prince of Wales Island, on road 2024300, approximately 1 mile from the Inter Island ferry facility at Hollis and is accessible via regular commercial barge service, ferry, and charter plane. The estimated price range for this acquisition is between $250,000 - $500,000. The performance period is 445 calendar days. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps website on or about May 18, 2006 for viewing and printing. Potential offerors are requested to obtain the solicitation from the Internet if at all possible. Alternatively, a hard copy of the solicitation documents may be requested via fax at 907.228.6254. Fax requests should reference solicitation AG-0116-S-06-0029. Telephone requests <u>will not</u> be honored. Offers will be due approximately 30 calendar days after the solicitation issue date.
