Description: THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, intends to negotiate and award a follow-on Sole Source Contract with URS Group, Inc. This follow-on Contract is needed to avoid duplication of c ost and unacceptable delays for the continued work of the preparation of final plans and specifications and R/W to construct levee enlargements, ramps, floodwalls and floodgates for the West Bank and Vicinity Hurricane Protection, Algiers Canal West and E ast Levees, Belle Chasse Highway to Hero Cutoff. This work will also include final relocation coordination, an abbreviated BCOE review, engineering during advertisement and engineering during construction.
