Description

Sam Creek Bridge Construction - The purpose of this request for proposals is to construct a 100 foot long new STD Prestressed Girder Bridge with 4 ? 54? Deep Bulb Tee Girders, and perform construction and maintenance-related road work on Forest Road 57 (Sam Creek). The project site is located on the Clackamas River Ranger District, Mt. Hood National Forest, Clackamas County, Oregon and may be reached from Estacada, Oregon. Travel Southeasterly on State Highway 224, approximately 26.5 miles to Forest Service Road 46 & 57, then 4.5 miles on Road 57 to Project Site. Work will include lowering the elevation of Sam Creek channel, removing an existing culvert in the channel, debris removal, clearing, traffic control, asphalt work, staking, excavation, processing grid-rolled material, structural excavation for footings, hauling of unsuitable excavation, sorting material to be stockpiled, stockpiling material, minor cleanup of stockpile site, soil erosion & pollution control, including the installation of coconut mat on all roadway cut & stream channel slopes, blasting stream channel, placing riprap, stockpiling boulders & 12? minus rock, placing asphalt & poly fabric, pouring concrete footings, framing, constructing wingwalls & approach railing at each end of bridge, reinforcing steel, concrete, installation of a 28?x20? pipe arch, processing & placing aggregate, danger tree removal, striping center & fog lines, brushing roadway & cleaning ditch & culverts for 7.5 miles on Rd. 57. This project is estimated to range from $250,000 ? $500,000. Registration in the Central Contractors Registration is required to receive an award. http://www.ccr.gov/
