Description

Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials and supervision for paving and related construction services to extend the Building 350 parking lot in accordance with Specification #120788-PS-0001, dated 4/18/06, Drawing # 9624-9-C01, dated 4/14/06, Drawing #9624-9-C02, dated 4/14/06, Drawing #9624-9-C03, dated 4/14/06, Drawing #9624-9-C04, dated 4/14/06, Drawing #9624-9-C04a, dated 4/14/06, Drawing #9624-9-C05, dated 4/14/06, Drawing #9624-9-C06, dated 4/14/06, Drawing #9624-9-C07, dated 4/14/06, Drawing #9624-9-C08, dated 4/14/06, Drawing #9624-9-C09, dated 4/14/06, Drawing #9624-9-C10, dated 4/14/06, Drawing #9624-9-C11, dated 4/14/06, and Drawing #9624-9-E01, dated 4/14/06. This project will provide for an additional 100 parking spaces in the 1.5-acre space adjacent to the existing Building 350 parking lot. An underground storm water retention structure and an underground sand filter will provide storm water containment and treatment as required by the State of Maryland. The underground structure will provide temporary containment of runoff from the new parking area and will filter the flow prior to discharging the runoff into the existing storm water system under Ware Drive.
