- The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within the proposal period will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this p roposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Contractor will provide all labor, parts, materials, travel, and equipment necessary to maintain in safe operating condition the equipment listed in the Performance Based Work Statement required for Medical Equipment Maintenance. The services to be per formed under this contract are for the following Scanditronix-Wellhofer IMRT Beam Analysis System located at Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii: Component Serial Number TAMC ECN No. BWP 3D Water Phantom 2001-2849 005942 CU500e Controller 04- 9534 005940 Electric Lift Table 4115-04-2749 005941 Vidar VXR Advantage Pro 300485 005939 OmniPro Accept vers.6.2 DAA011-0510 (Software) OmniPro ImRT vers.1.4 DHA000-0220 (Software) Solicitation W81K02-06-T-0059 applies. This is a firm fixed-price type contract. Contractor services include but are not limited to: Technical support (including web, phone support, installation, training, and maintenance), Software maintenance, updates and telephone support, One factory specified preventive maintenance inspection per year, and furnishing all materials, Original Equipment Manufacturer Parts, labor and supplies necessary to perform the services and repairs. Contract period is for a five-month base period (01 May 2006 through 30 September 2006) and four (4) one-year optio n periods. The proposed acquisition is intended as a sole source set-aside to Wellhofer North America. The NAICS code is 811219; the size standard is $6.5 million.
