Due to the project site?s location in the northern extreme of the Pasayten Wilderness, special provisions have been made to allow the transport of the bridge superstructure by helicopter. Normally any motorized means of transport would be prohibited in a Wilderness area, but approval for helicopter use has been obtained to transport the bridge superstructure to the construction site, landing at the project site is prohibited.
