Description: This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302 with Honeywell International Incorporated to procure maintenance and repair services for the Honeywell Delta-Net Fire Alarm Receiver System from the only auth orized company/manufacturer who has access to and the capability of modifying/altering the FS90 Plus Fire Detection and Alarm System configuration installed by Honeywell, and to maintain the required Underwriters and Factory Mutual listings at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The contractor must provide all resources necessary, including but not limited to, all labor, parts and material for the inspection, testing, preventative maintenance, and repair of 42,770 devices and 245 Fire Alarm Control Panels located in 251 mission critical facilities throughout Fort Bragg to full-mission capability after initial receipt of award. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This is a notice of intent to place a firm-fixed price contract with Hon eywell International Incorporated of Company of Charlotte, North Carolina. Response to this notice will be used to determine whether bona fide competition exists and whether a formal solicitation is appropriate. Written responses, which include prices an d sufficient technical data to determine capability to meet the requirement, must be received in this office within five (5) calendar days after publication of this notice. If no written responses are received within the time specified, a contract will be placed with Honeywell International Incorporated of Charlotte, North Carolina. A request for a solicitation will not be considered a response. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within th e discretion of the Government.
