Description
In accordance with the procedures specified in the revised OMB Circular A-76 dated May 29, 2003, this notification represents the formal public announcement and official start date of a streamlined competition of the Administrative Support Function (ASF) performed at the General Services Administration (GSA) in Region 1 (New England Region). The effective start date of the streamlined cost competition study is April 3, 2006. Government personnel consisting of nine (9) FTEs and six (6) contract workers represent the incumbent ASF provided and located in the New England Region. FTEs are geographically located as follows: six (6) in Boston, MA; one (1) in Hartford, CT; one (1) in Providence, RI; and one (1) in Chicago, IL. All six (6) contract workers are located in Boston, MA. The estimated work years will consist of a base year with four option years. Prospective offerors are advised that a solicitation will not be issued if the cost of contract performance is determined to be greater than the cost of in-house performance by Government personnel. The projected end date of this competition is August 16, 2006. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. NO SOLICITATION SHOULD BE ANTICIPATED, AND PROPOSALS ARE THEREFORE NOT REQUESTED. Smith, Competitive Sourcing Official, New England Region; Marjorie Samra, Agency Tender Official, New England Region; Matthew Bailey, Deputy Agency Tender Official, New England Region; Mary Jean Reddington, Study Manager, New England Region; Francix X.
