Description

Notice of intent to award a sole source procurement under FAR Part 12.203 to Harris Corporation for the following items: four (4) each AN/PRC-152 (V) 1 (C) single-channel, multi-band handheld radio systems, four (4) each dual bay radio chargers for the AN/PRC-152 (V) 1 (C) radio system, and four (4) each lithium-ion spare batteries for the AN/PRC-152 (V) 1 (C) radio system. These items will be provided to F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), the Government will negotiate directly with Harris Corporation. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. This notice is for information only. It is neither a request for proposals nor a solicitation for offers. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334220 with a size standard of 750 employees. Responses to this notice must be submitted within 5 days after this posting. Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. Response to this synopsis is not required.
