- CONTACT Point of Contact Daniel McClendon (732) 532-6241. Entrance Housing Assembly p/o AN/VVS-2(V)1A Drivers Night Vision Viewer. This is a market survey to locate potential sources of supply for the Entrance Housing Assembly p/o AN/VVS-2(V)1A, N SN 5855-01-027-3639, drawing number SM-D-771333-1, and specification MIL-PRF-49150D. The AN/VVS-2 drivers viewer enables a closed-hatch vehicle to be driven during nighttime conditions without active illumination. The drivers viewer is a through-the-hull /hatch night periscope for armored vehicles. The government intends to purchase this part using an indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery (IDIQ) contract over a five-year period. The government will guarantee an initial quantity of 300 units with an estim ated contract quantity of 1,000 units over the five-year period. The contractor shall submit their part numbers, NSN, or nomenclature and the date of the last manufacturing effort of the same or similar items for which they have production experience. Government contract numbers, if applicable, shall be provided. The c ontractor shall cite the quality standard (either Government or Industry) that shall be in place for this effort. The contractor must provide information to show that he possesses, or shall possess, adequate production plant facilities (equipment, tooling, and space) to enable him, or his subcontractors, to produce this item.
