- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to purchase the following Sun Microsystems, Inc. products and services: Five (5) SunPlex Server Licenses for SunFire V240 with 3 year standard support, part number CLSIS-N999-3ST; One (1) Sun Cluster Base Software with 3 year additional media, part number CLUZS-99M9-3MED; Five (5) Node Configurations for Sun Cluster, part number PS-CLNODC; One (1) Cluster Implementation Service, part number PS-CLRGRC; Two (2) Cluster Implementation Service, part number PS-CLSTND; Two (2) Runbooks for Sun Cluster, part number PS-CLRBK; Two (2) Installation of Sun Cluster software on the first two nodes, part number EIS-SC-VSNTR-BS-E; One (1) Installation of Sun Cluster software on one additional node, part number EIS-SC-VSNTR-AN-E; Two (2) Sun Enterprise Cluster Terminal Contractor Kits with 3 long serial cables 5 meters, part number X1312A; Two (2) Terminal concentrator mounting brackets for E5000 and E6000, part number X1311A. ONLY PROPOSALS FROM SUN AUTHORIZED GOVERNMENT SYSTEM PROVIDERS WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD. These items will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The closing date is 2:00PM EST on 23 March 2006. The anticipated award date is 31 March 2006. All items are to be priced FOB-Destination, Dahlgren, VA. Delivery shall be no later than 20 days after award date. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED ON THIS NOTICE.
