1. NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING/ PRE PROPOSAL CONFERENCE The purpose of this amendment to the Pre-solicitation Notice/Procurement for Solicitation Number: C2000060100 which was originally posted on March 27, 2006, is to notify and invite all potential offerors to the scheduled pre proposal conferences which will be held as follows: a. The first will be held from 2:00-4:00pm EST at the U.S. Customs House, 1 Bowling Green on April 19, 2006. b. The second will be held from 7:00-9:00pm EST at the Ted Weiss Federal Building, 290 Broadway, New York, New York 10007 on April 19, 2006. These are public meetings. All those interested in the project are invited to attend, including but not limited to potential offerors, the African descendant community, stakeholders and community members, government officials, historians, community leaders, and the general public. Please adjust your calendars accordingly. Attendance of offerors is not required. Each public meeting is an informational presentation by the National Park Service to the public. The agenda will consist of an overall presentation of the project, a synopsis of the architectural build-out Request for Proposal (RFP) and a synopsis of the interpretive media RFP, a review of the overall project process, and the planned civic engagement during the project. A time for questions and answers will follow. 2. NOTICE OF CHANGE OF SUBMITTAL DEADLINE This is also notice of a time extension for receipt of submittals. For the benefit of the project, its offerors, and to include public involvement, the deadline for submission of proposals has changed from March 29, 2006 to May 5, 2006. All responses and the Standard Form 330 must be received before 4:00 p.m. Mountain Daylight time, May 5, 2006.
