Description: The Superior National Forest has a requirement for shimming, grading, shaping, class 5 aggregate base material, furnishing and placing hot-mix bituminous pavement (base course on parking areas and wear course on Mesabi Trail) furnishing and placing Class I aggregate shoulder material on Mesabi Trail and traffic control. The project is located in Ely, Minnesota, St. Louis County, 1/2 mile east of Ely on State Highway 169. The estimate start date is June 1, 2006, the construction estimated range is between $100,000 and $250,000.
