- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announce-ment constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued separate from this announcement. Solicitation DE-RQ65-06WG71851 is issued as a Request for Quotation. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-07. A fixed price contract will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This solicitation is 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Code (NAICS) is 334220 and the business size standard is 750 employees or less. COMMERCIAL ITEM SPECIFICATION RFL IMUX The U.S. Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration, Desert Southwest Region requires the following: Item Description Unit Qty 1. RFL IMUX 2000 DA-191B Four Port Asynchronous Data Module 75 P/N 9547-18272 2. RFL IMUX 2000 MA-420A 2-Port RS-232 Module Adapter 75 P/N 9547169221 Shipment of material shall be FOB Destination. Specific address/directions will be given upon award. Delivery shall be no later than 04/21/2006. The following FAR clauses/provisions are applicable to this acquisition. FAR Clause/Provisions, 52.203-3, Gratuities, 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, 52.212-2, Evaluation ??? Commercial items applies to this acquisition. The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose quotation is the most advantageous to the Government. .
