- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons(BOP), Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, TX intends to make a sole source award to Western Oregon Waste for the provision of Solid Waste Removal and Disposal services at the Federal Correctional Institution Sheridan, Oregon. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 562111 (Size Standard: $10.5 million). The contractor shall be responsible for providing: A.) two(2) 25 cubic yard compactors B.) one(1) 31 cubic yard compactor C.) two(2) 30 cubic yard open dumpsters D.) one(1) 1.5 cubic yard dumpster with lid e.) one (1) each 10 quart sharps, hospital waste box F.) one(1) each 21 gallon, hospital waste box G.) one(1) each 48 gallon box, hospital waste. The contractor shall provide transportation of the equipment to and from the disposal area. The contractor is solely responsible for full compliance with all Federal, State, Local and all other applicable laws, policies, rules and regulations, regarding the disposal of waste and/or refuse. The contractor shall be responsible for the provision of all equipment, labor, licenses, maintenance, materials, parts, permits, repairs, tools, etc., that are necessary to complete the requirements of this contract. The Government contemplates awarding of a firm-fixed price, combination fixed price, requirements type contract resulting from the future solicitation. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period with four-12 month option periods for renewal. The solicitation will be made available on/about September 22, 2005 and will be distrubuted solely through this website. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides downloading instructions to obtain all documents relating to this solicitation. All future information concerning this acquisition, including the solicitation and any subsequent amendments, will be distrubuted through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the website to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. The date for receipt of quotes is October 27, 2005; however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to page 1 of the solicitation (Block 8) for the actual date quotations are due. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts which they are eligible.
