- Request for Information Light Armoured Vehicle User Nation Group (LAVUNG) 2006 Conference and Industry Day THIS SPECIAL NOTICE IS BEING ISSUED FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. This notice is being issued to estimate the number of companies interested in participating in the Light Armoured Vehicle User Nation Groups (LAVUNG) Industry Day. The LAVUNG is a multi-national group that meets annually to discuss topics of common interest related to the Canadian LAV IIIs, the Marine Corps LAVs and the Armys Stryker Family of Vehicles. The United States will host this years event, with the Army and Marine Corps taking the lead on the planning and coordination efforts. This year, the theme of the conference is Light Armoured Vehicles in Combat Operat ions&Improving Products & Processes . The LAVUNG Conference is scheduled to convene September 2006; however the exact date has yet to be determined. The conference will take place in the Detroit, Michigan Metropolitan area. If you are interested in participating in the Industry Day, please fill out the short questionnaire below and submit it to Cassandra Maxwell at maxwellc@tacom.army.mil not later than 17 March 2006. Negative responses are not required. Due to limited spac e for the static and vehicle display areas, the User Nation Group reserves the right to restrict attendance to those companies whose area of technical expertise is relevant to Light Armour Vehicle technology and relevant to the areas of discussion. **Due to formating issues with AFSI the Questionnaire appear jumbled.
