- The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market survey and will not pay for information solicited. Please identify any proprietary information submitted. All information submitted will be retained in the contract offi ce files as market research but will not be released to the public. The subject rounds are M220 10 Gauge Blank DODIC A010 NSN 1305-00-028-5035, 12 Gauge 2? 00 Buckshot DODIC A011 NSN 1305-01-232-8338, and 12 Gauge 2? #9 Shot DODIC A017 NSN 1305-01-232-7415. The 10 Ga. Blank round (A010) must meet MIL-C-46935(MU). Waterproofing and Identification in accordance with commercial practices. The rounds are packed in 25 round cartons, 20 cartons to a box. While there are no firm requirements at this time, the req uirement could be for approximately 250,000 rounds the third and fifth year and 15,000 the second year. The 12 Ga. 00 Buckshot round (A011) must meet Type I MIL-C-48656. Each shell shall contain nine .330 Inch diameter lead pellets. Components shall be in compliance with commercial manufacturers standard specifications or better. The rounds are packed in five round cartons with 32 cartons per M2A1 Ammo Can and two ammo cans per wire bound wooden crate. While there are no firm requirements at this time, the requirement could be for approximately 1.6M rounds the first year, 2.9 the second year, 2.7M the th ird year, 2.4M the fourth year and 2.7M the fifth year. The 12 Ga. No. 9 Shot round (A017) must meet Type II MIL-C-48656. Each shell shall contain 1 1/8 ounces of .080 diameter lead shot. Components shall be in compliance with commercial manufacturers standard specifications or better. The rounds are packe d in 25 round cartons with 20 cartons per fiberboard box. While there are no firm requirements at this time, the requirement could be for approximately 0.66M rounds the first year, 0.05M the second year, 0.84M the third year, 0.38 the fourth year and 0.58 M the fifth year. The USG has no intention of waiving any technical data package requirements and does not intend to provide any GFM (Government Furnished Materials). The Army Field Support Command is seeking sources capable of meeting subject requirements. Interested sources should submit concept papers outlining their capabilities to meet the Armys requirements should they develop. Concept papers, at a minimum, sho uld identify your business structure, business size and status, business capabilities to produce these requirements (equipment, technical, production rate capabilities identifying minimum and maximums, quality system utilized, etc.), past experience with s ame or similar items.
