- Description
- This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Small Business. The NAIC code for this acquisition is 238220 and the size standard is $13.0M. The FAA New England Region currently has a requirement for the removal/disposal of existing HVAC system and installation of a new HVAC system at the ARSR-4 Facility Radar Base Building, North Truro, MA. Contractor will be required to install two 20 ton air handling units, associated external condensing sections, floor stands, external concrete pad and associated duct work. The work shall include, but is not limited to the following: Remove and dispose of the 2 existing 25 ton external A/C units, concrete pads, inside/outside ductwork, and outside electrical system; remove and dispose of two load bank units and all exterior wiring to the load banks; remove and dispose of two concrete pads for the load banks; move the UPS within 1.5 feet from the rear wall; provide and install one new load bank and concrete pad plus all exterior electrical connections; supply and install two new 20 ton A/C units with associated duct systems; provide electrical power and new A/C controls as shown on the drawings. Performance time for the installation is 60 calendar days after delivery of the HVAC units. Estimated price range is $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. Solicitation packages will be available on or about the week of March 20, 2006. Contractor must have a minimum of 3 years experience in the removal and installation of HVAC units of similar size and complexity. There is a $100.00 non-refundable fee for this solicitation package. All checks shall be made payable to the Federal Aviation Administration.
