- NIST seeks information on commercially available high speed laser cameras. NIST may procure such high speed laser cameras after results of this market research are obtained and analyzed and specifications are developed after a determination is made regarding which high speed laser cameras can meet NIST's minimum requirements. The camera shall be capable of the following: High-speed 3D ladar camera for simultaneous acquisition of 3D range images and intensity images is needed for the purpose of detecting object motion in an environment. The requirement is for high-fidelity with range and intensity data in video image size format with the following basic requirements; Spatial Resolutions: 256 pixels by 144 lines. Horizontal angular resolutions for 60-degree field of view: 0.23 degree Vertical resolution for 30-degree field of view: 0.18 degree. Pixel rate: > 450,000 pixels / sec. Temporal Resolution (Frame rate): 5 frames/second. Range Resolution: 16 bit Intensity Resolution:16 bit Companies that manufacture or sell commercially available high speed laser cameras are requested to email detailed specifications for such commercially available system(s) to jennifer.roderick@nist.gov no later than the response date for this sources sought notice. Specifications shall include detailed functional and performance capabilities for the high speed laser camera. Also, the following information is requested to be provided as part of the response to this sources sought notice: 1. Name of the company that manufactures the high speed laser cameras for which specifications are provided. 2. Name of company(ies) that are authorized to sell the high speed laser camera, their addresses, and a point of contact for the company (name, phone number, fax number and email address). 3. Indication of number of days, after receipt of order that is typical for delivery of such systems. 4. Indication of whether each instrument for which specifications are sent to jennifer.roderick@nist.gov are currently on one or more GSA Federal Supply Schedule contracts and, if so, the GSA FSS contract number(s). 5. Any other relevant information that is not listed above which the Government should consider in developing its minimum specifications.
