The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to negotiate a contract on a sole source basis with Joint Program Office, 47123 Buse Rd., Patuxent River, MD 20670-1547 to provide Corrosian Resistant Steel size 3 OD 0.188?, 0.020? 21-6-9 per AMS5561 or BMS7-185 50 feet, and Titanium Tubing 3AL-2.5V Titanium Alloy per AMS4945, Grade 1 Type 2 size 3, OD 0.250?, wall 0.022? length 120 feet, Grade 1 Type 2. size 6, OD 0.375?, wall 0.032? length 130 feet, Grade 1 Type 1. size 6, OD 0.375?, wall 0.022? length 130 feet, Grade 1 Type 2. size 8, OD 0.500?, wall 0.043? length 140 feet, Grade 1 Type 1. size 8, OD 0.500?, wall 0.022? length 140 feet, Grade 1 Type 2. size 10, OD 0.625?, wall 0.054? length 190 feet, Grade 1 Type 1. size 10, OD 0.625?, wall 0.023? length 190 feet, Grade 1 Type 1. size 12, OD 0.750?, wall 0.027? length 270 feet (Titanium, 3AL-2.5V Titanium Alloy per AMS 4945, Grade 1, Type 1 (return Lines) and Type 2 (Preasure Lines) / Corrosion Resistanct Steel , Stainless per AMS5561 or BMS7-185) for delivery to Navel Aviation Depot (NADEP) Cherry Point New River, NC. The Navy intends to procure this effort under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 Firms that believe they can satisfy this requirement are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which may be considered by the Navy in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Navy not to open the requirement to competition, based upon the response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Navy. A solicitation is not available for this procurement. This effort will commence within approximately 30 days after the date of subsequent contract.
