- This announcement is to provide notification of the VA Western New York Healthcare System?s intent to enter into a sole source contract with B.J. Muirhead Company Incorporated for installation of oxygen monitoring systems and submaster controls required on our high pressure Cleaver-Brooks Boilers. B.J. Muirhead Company Incorporated is the only known authorized representative to work on Cleaver-Brooks Boilers at the VA Western New York Healthcare System, Batavia, NY location. Interested persons who are authorized representatives of Cleaver-Brooks Boilers in the Batavia, NY area may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide installation of these items. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any company that believes it can meet the requirements must provide written notification to the Contracting Officer within fifteen days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received the VA Western New York Healthcare System, will proceed with the intended sole source contract.
