Description

This is a Sole Source announcement. No "hard copy" RFQ will be prepared or made available for distribution. SPACE AND NAVAL WARFARE SYSTEMS CENTER, SAN DIEGO (SSC), intends to award a firm fixed price contract to FABCO for 60 each 447-0390-011-PPD-D-Power protection devices. The sole source is based upon previous testing, compatibility and interchangeability within the current and new construction on ships. Contract to be awarded IAW Simplified Acquisition, FAR part 13. Note 22 applies, however, all responses received within 7 days (in lieu of 45 days) of the date of this advertisement maybe considered by SPAWAR. All responding vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration before doing business with DOD. Information may be found at http://www.ccr.gov/. This solicitation is also posted at SPAWARSYSCEN SD'S e-Commerce Central website at: https://ecommerce.spawar.navy.mil. Responsible firms believing they can provide the above item should submit a written response to the Contracting Officer within 3 days after the date of publication of this notice clearly showing their ability to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy and reliability of the product without causing programmatic hardship to the program.
