- CONTACT Mike Bernicker, Electronics Engineer, (732) 427-5143. This Market Survey is to identify and locate additional sources capable of supplying the M1048A1 Trailer, Flatbed (Medium), 6-ton, 8-wheel. The item is identified by NSN: 2330-01-406-2090. Associated technical documentation is: TM 9-2330-396-14&P titled Operators, Unit, Direct Support & General Support Maintenance Manual (including Repair Parts & Special Tools List for Trailer Flatbed, Medium, 6-ton, 8-wheel, M1048A1). The current supplie r is: Eidal International Corporation. Firm total procurement quantity to date is estimated at 22 units with flexibility/option to procure additional units. Subject trailers shall be built in accordance with parameters identified in a Government specificat ion along with supplemental documentation (drawing package) which will be made available upon request. First Article Testing will be a mandatory requirement for suppliers who have not produced and/or satisfactorily delivered this exact item on a contract within the past 5 years. Potential sources must comply with the Governments need for an aggressive delivery schedule. Therefore, potential suppliers shall supply supporting data to demonstrate ability to successfully comply with a delivery schedule comme ncing within 6 months of contract award or better. In response to this announcement, interested suppliers capable of successfully providing the required items must so indicate, by writing to Commander, PM Radars, ATTN: SFAE-IEW&S-NV-R (Bernicker), Fort Mon mouth, NJ 07703-5015 or by sending an email to: Michael.bernicker@us.army.mil. Responses must include the following data at a minimum: Documentation such as test results, test/repair procedures, copy of purchase order(s) if the supplier was a vendor/subco ntractor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, successfully supply the item. Past Performance for identified item or similar items specifying part number, NSN, or nomenclature, last manufacturing/production date, in addition to Government contract numbers, if applicable. Specify the quality standard (either Government or Industry) that will be used for this effort. Supporting data to show availability of adequate resources, i.e. personnel, production plant facilities (equipment, tooling and space) to enable interested source, or its subcontractors, to produce this item and warrant t hat it will satisfactorily perform in compliance with Government specification and for the purpose intended when used by the Army after delivery.
