Description
Presolicitation notice for janitorial services contract with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) at the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge located at 2025 W. Forest Street, Brigham City, Utah, 84032. Area is 28,000 sq feet of visitor center and office portions of the building. Site visit point of contact is Ann Bull at (435) 723-5887 ext 10. This is This contract will consist of (1) one 12-month Base year and (4) four 12-month option periods for a total of 5 years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for these services is 561720. The solicitation will be issued on or about the March 14, 2006 with a closing date of on or about March 28, 2006. The Request for Quote will be available through the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE) (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) and National Business Center (http://www.ideasec.nbc.gov). Contractors need to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (http://www.ccr.gov) prior to award. This acquistion is a 100% total small business set aside. O'Mara at (303) 236-4791 or emailed to al_omara@fws.gov. Listed below is the statement of work. Daily All Public areas: vacuum, sweep, or dust mop as appropriate Use spot remover on carpet stains if necessary all entry doors and windows cleaned rest rooms cleaned (5), replace toilet paper as necessary staff break room cleaned (counter tops cleaned, sink wiped out, trash removed) walls wiped if fingerprints or dirty marks appear trash emptied from all inside containers the floor will be approximately 4366 square feet tiled floors, and 3517 square feet carpeted floors. Weekly cobwebs removed from ceiling area, conference room cleaned (tables dusted, windows cleaned if needed, blinds cleaned in needed, chairs dusted and wiped clean if needed) Auditoriums cleaned (vacuumed, dusted as needed, and drapes or wall tiles vacuumed if needed, cobwebs removed) Staff shower and locker room cleaned (shower cleaned and disinfected, floor swept and mopped if needed and seats cleaned and dusted) Lab area cleaned, (counter tops wiped off, floor as needed ) Wipe clean the outside surfaces of refrigerator. Wipe outside and inside of microwave oven. Dust all surfaces which collect dust such as information desk counter top, desk tops, book shelves, storage cabinets, top of file cabinets, etc. (move paper/books and return to original position as nearly as possible) Once a Month Clean the bottom legs of all office and conference chairs Remove cobwebs and finger prints as necessary in all areas. Deep Carpet Cleaning As determined by staff, carpet should be deep cleaned professionally at least twice per year. Other Details Cleaning supplies to be supplied by contractor unless specialized products are specified by display manufacturer. Work is to be conducted during non-business hours (8:00 am - 4:30 pm, M-S are normal business hours with the exception of Federal Holidays) An office key will be furnished. Children not allowed on the premises while conducting the cleaning. Invoice to be submitted once per month at the end of each month for payment. Payment to be made electronically to an account identified by the individual.
