Description

The U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command, Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division, Natick, MA, has a requirement for two types of Solar Shade Systems: Type I, NSN: 5410-01-519-7041 and Type II, NSN: 5410-01-519-7185. Color: Tan. The Government anticipates that this acquisition will result in a single award Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Requirements type contract consisting of a one-year (1) Base Ordering Period and two (2) one-year Optional Ordering Periods for a total of three ( 3) years duration. Estimated quantities for the life of the contract are approximately 4,500 Type I and 4,500 Type II Solar Shade Systems. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 313249 with a size standard of 500 or le ss employees. This procurement will be a 100 percent small business set-aside. The Request for Proposals (RFP), Drawings, Technical Data Package List (TDPL) and other pertinent documents will be available on the Natick Contracting Division website ON OR AB OUT March 24, 2006 at https://www3.natick.army.mil under Business Opportunities/Ongoing Acquisitions/W58P05-06-R-0014/Files Available for Download. Firms will not be reimbursed for any costs associated with proposal preparation. The closing time and date for the RFP responses will be approximately 30 days after release of the solicitation.
