- The U.S. Department of Education, Office of the Secretary, intends to award a purchase order to obtain expert services from a contractor to provide an informational/motivational training presentation to managers on best strategies for human capital management, with a focus on performance and accountability, as well as managing employees from a generational mix. The contractor shall conduct small group sessions after the larger presentation, focusing on accountability issues and management techniques designed to elicit improved organizational and individual performance. This is intended as a sole source award to be awarded to Rainmaker Thinking, Inc., 125 Lawrence Street, New Haven, CT 06511. Bruce Tulgan, founder of Rainmaker Thinking, Inc., is internationally recognized as the leading expert on young people in the workplace. He is an advisor to business leaders all over the world, the author or coauthor of fifteen different books and numerous management training programs, and an extremely effective keynote speaker and seminar leader. This combination of expertise and comprehensive technical experience provides the vendor with unique qualifications possessed by no one else for this task.
