Description
STATEMENT OF WORK Maintenance of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and Converters 1.0 General Description: 1.1 The contractor shall provide nonpersonal services and furnish all labor, tools, equipment, materials, and transportation to provide necessary preventive maintenance and unscheduled repairs for static UPS electrical power back up systems. The Apostar AS systems are be located in building 2165, Ground Controlled Approach (GCA), in Ramstein Germany. Services provided shall be in accordance with the best commercial practices and manufacturer?s recommendations. 2.0 Description of Maintenance and Services: 2.1 Full maintenance shall be done once a year on the following equipment: a. 1 ea/ Three phase power uninterruptible power supply (UPS) ABB Type: PX3-2/120KVA b. 2 ea/ Three phase frequency converter ABB Type: S4000/100KVA 2.2 Full Maintenance shall include: a. Visual Test of the UPS (screw connections, filters and fans) b. Measurement of voltage and current (mains and load) c. Measurement of battery load voltage (floating and boost) d. Test of PCB (Rectifier board, Inverter firing board, By-pass firing board, Rectifier ?transistor control board, Invert-transistor-control board, bypass transistor-control, and Feeder-input-terminals. e. Battery ? capacity test with customer load f. Maintenance Report 3.0 Hours Of Operation: 3.1 The maintenance services shall be preformed during regular work hours of Monday thru Friday, 0800 thru 1600. a. The response time for emergency services on the above equipment shall be within twenty four (24) hours. These costs will be billed separately and paid for by the customers? GPC, or purchase order. b. Emergency services preformed on Saturday, Sundays, or national holidays, will be paid separately via customer?s Government Purchase Card (GPC) 3.2 Any repairs identified during maintenance will be coordinated with the customer and paid for via GPC or purchase order. 3.3 The customer (Facility Manager will take care (Provide Security Escort) of the UPS service technicians and give them access to all equipment and their rooms.
