Section B - Supplies or Services and Prices ITEM NO SUPPLIES/SERVICES QUANTITY UNIT UNIT PRICE AMOUNT 0001 166,666 Pound General Laundry Services FFP for Naval Hospital Pensacola for the period 1 March06 -31 July 2006 FOB: Destination MILSTRIP: N0020306RCLS003 PURCHASE REQUEST NUMBER: N0020306RCLS003 NET AMT Section C - Descriptions and Specifications CLAUSES INCORPORATED BY FULL TEXT Statement of Work Contractor to provide general laundry cleaning services for the Naval Hospital Pensacola, FL. Selected contractor must have the ability to begin work within 24 hours of contract award additionally contactor must guarantee no break in service with current contract N00203-06-P-0868. In the event of service interruption the Government reserves the right to cancel resulting award, select an alternate vendor and seek re-procurement cost reimbursement. As a minimum selected vendor shall: Provide pick-up and delivery of all linen / laundry to Naval Hospital Pensacola, 6000 West Highway 98; Build-2268; Pensacola, FL 32512-0003 Pick-ups and deliveries shall be scheduled every Tuesday and Friday during normal business hours (7:00 am ? 4:30 pm). In the event of Federal Holidays (July -4) contractor shall provide services the next business day. Contractor to clean a full range of hospitals textiles. All returned laundry shall be delivered aseptically cleaned linens, packaged ready for use, protected against contamination in accordance with criteria established by the Joint Committee on Accreditation of Hospitals (JCAHO) and delivered in covered carts. Contractor to verify outgoing and incoming weights of all linen. Contactor is required to have weights acknowledged by the Government via a signature of accepting Government personal. (note that there is an approximate difference of 8-12% between the weight of soiled and clean linen). Naval Hospital Pensacola Operating Management Dept shall observe appropriate infection control procedures. All soiled linen will be considered infectious and will be placed in an impervious linen bag. Personal shall verify weight of all outgoing and incoming linen and maintain a log with receipt of verification. The contractor?s price shall be inclusive of all cost including cleaning and transportation cost. Contractor shall warrant that all linen has been cleaned as required. In the event of improperly cleaned linen, contractor shall re-clean at no additional cost of the Government. Contractor shall take appropriate measures to limit damage to Government owned linens. Resulting award shall be issued as a not to exceed value with no minimum guarantees. Contractor shall be responsible to track total quantities received and shall not accept any work that exceed order value.
