Description

NON-PERSONAL SERVICE: The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, personnel, labor and services necessary to operate a Government-Owned, Contractor-Operated (GOCO) laundry facility and equipment located at Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal in order to provide various laundry, dry cleaning and alteration services. These services are in support of various organizations to include, but not limited to, the 65th Medical Group, fitness center, consolidated club, DECA commissary, 65th Services Squadron Lodging, etc. The contract shall consist of a base year (April 1, 2006 through September 30, 2006) and four one-year option periods. Offerors are urged to inspect the site where services are to be performed and satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions, which may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. A pre-solicitation conference/site visit will be held on March 1, 2006 at 1:00 PM (local time). Interested parties shall meet at the 65th Contracting Squadron conference room for transportation to the site of the laundry plant. **NOTE - DO NOT INCLUDE COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PERSONAL LAUNDRY SERVICES OUTLINED IN THE ?PERSONAL LAUNDRY SERVICES AGREEMENT? IN YOUR PRICES UNDER THE CONTRACT LINE ITEMS (CLIN?s). PROFITS AND REIMBURSEMENTS WILL BE ACQUIRED THROUGH CASH SALES FOR PERSONAL LAUNDRY SERVICES THROUGH THE CASH REGISTER. FULL PACKAGE WILL BE UPLOADED. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE RESPONSIBLE REVIEWING AND PRINTING OF ALL DOCUMENTS.
