- Description
- The Defense Distribution Center (DDC) located in New Cumberland, PA has a requirement for the establishment of an anticipated Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide the installation, configuration, and testing of passive RFID integration software, a.k.a. edgeware, in support of the implementation of multi-protocol passive Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) portals and associated hardware. The Government anticipates installation at potentially 26 or more CONUS and OCONUS distribution locations. This is a large purchase with a base year and up to two (2) option year periods. The exact date and time for receipt of offers shall be provided in the solicitation package. The Government will evaluate proposals on a Best Value/Trade Off basis. Non-cost factors are significantly more important than cost. The NAICS code for this procurement is 423430. The small business size standard is 100 employees. All responsible sources will be eligible to submit a proposal for this effort. The solicitation number for this requirement is SP3100-06-R-0009. The solicitation package will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities website, www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 17 April 2006.
