- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, Seal Beach Division intents to modify contract N00244-00-C-0131 to extend the period of performance from 1 April 2006 through 30 June 2006. Authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C 2304 (c) (1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The requirement is for Mess Attendant Services at the Port Hueneme, Point Mugu and St Nicholas Island Galleys, CA. A competitive procurement is currently in process but the continuity of services is required until the award of a new contract. Only the incumbent contractor, Pentad Corp., Las Vegas, CA. can meet the Navy?s needs without a disruption to required services for the extension period. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All interest and capability statements received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 722310, size standard is $19 millions. No solicitation will be posted.
