Description

The 96th Contracting Squadron (96 CONS/MSCB), Eglin AFB intends to offer Timber Sales on the Eglin AFB Reservation. Work will consist of harvesting all sand pine trees designated for removal as specified in the Statement of Work. The sale consists of approximately 590 acres containing 37,000 tons of sand pine timber. A good percentage of the timber is of plylog size and bidders are encouraged to visit the site prior to submitting their bid. Timber will be sold on a lump sum/ per unit basis. This is a notice to interested parties. The solicitation number for this announcement is FA2823-06-R-0005. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this sale is 113310. The size standard for the NAICS code is 500 employees. Please identify whether or not you are a small or large business based on the NAICS code. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by this agency.
