Description

The VA Medical Center, 1970 Roanoke Blvd., Salem, Virginia has a requirement for LAUNDRY TRANSPORT SERVICES. Contractor shall provide the following: all labor, tools, materials and equipment, to include trucks and drivers, necessary for the transportation/delivery of an estimated 18-20 linen carts, z-racks and assorted bags from the clean linen dock at the VAMC, 1970 Roanoke Blvd., Salem, Virginia to the clean linen dock, VAMC, 508 Fulton St., Durham, North Carolina and then return to VAMC Salem soiled linen dock with soiled linens. Services to be provided five days per week, 52 weeks per year, including all holidays. Vehicle shall be Class A and driver shall be licensed appropriately. The applicable NAICS Code is 484121 with a size standard of $21.5 Million. THIS ACQUISITION IS UNRESTRICTED. Contract period will be one year from date of award. Solicitation packages will be available on or about February 15, 2006. This requirement is subject to the availability of FY06 funds.
