Description

The USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is seeking sources capable of providing master planning, design, and construction (design-build) of the Great Basin Plant Materials Center at Fallon, Nevada. This notice is issued to conduct market research for informational and planning purposes. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS and no way obligates the government to award a contract. Work consists of master planning, design and construction (design-build) of: 1) cement block design for administrative offices and climate controlled seed storage facility for the Plant Materials Center and, 2) construction of pre-fabricated metal buildings for shop, equipment storage, warehouse, and seed handling facilities. It also includes all site work, utilities, site improvements, storm drain systems, roads, parking, accommodation for equipment travel lanes, walkways and landscaping. The contractor will be required to acquire all permits and perform all site surveys (topographic, utility, etc) to determine the existing site conditions.
