CORRECTED: COMPETITION WILL BE LIMITED TO 8(A) CERTIFIED FIRMS WITH AN OFFICE LOCATED WITHIN REGION IV (GA, AL, NC, TN, MS, FL, KY,SC) WHICH HAVE 236220 AMONG THEIR APPROVED NAICS CODES. ** This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only a nd will be available on or about 15 February 2006. ** On 15 February 2006, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, will implement a new procedure for posting all NEW solicitations. The Electronic Bid Solicitations (EBS) system will no longer b e used to post solicitations. The new system, called Federal Technical Data System (FedTeDS) http://www.fedteds.gov, is a web-based dissemination tool designed to safeguard acquisition-related information for all Federal agencies. All prospective contracto rs and their subcontractors and suppliers must be registered in FedTeDS before they will be allowed to download solicitation information. You are urged to read the FAQs posted on the FedTeDS website to better understand this new process.
